FAQs

How is this different from the first phase of Youth Employment Program?

YEP previously focused on training people on freelancing platforms. Recognizing that the need for digital skills is rapidly evolving, and that Pakistan’s digital transformation will require innumerable digital skills, YEP has expanded its scope to focus on supporting digital skills more broadly, and to create an adaptable and flexible solution to the evolving needs for digital skills. YEP is administered by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board with technical assistance from the World Bank.

Does this program guarantee me a job?

No. YEP will teach you skills and connect you to opportunities, but does not provide direct employment.

Why can I only apply for one course?

As YEP gears up for its expanded role across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there will be a restriction to one course per applicant. Other courses will be added soon, and participants will be encouraged to take a combination of courses and achieve different certifications.

How will I know if I have been selected?

Applications for some in-person trainings may exceed the number of available slots. But decision making will be transparent, as we are invested in everyone’s success. After filling out the application, you may receive a follow-up survey or quiz. Please pay close attention to the application questions and check your email regularly!
